UniFlow™ coaxial breathing systems
Intersurgical provide a wide range of universal coaxial breathing systems to fit all anaesthetic machines and ventilators and are ideally suited for low flow anaesthesia for adults and children >5Kg.
UniFlow is a convenient, single limb tube-within-a-tube breathing system that provides warmer, humid inspiratory gases and the option of an integrated respiratory gases monitoring line. UniFlow incorporates a large 30mm diameter outer lumen minimising the resistance to flow of the expired gases so the patient will not experience unacceptable resistance during spontaneous breathing.
The UniFlow deluxe coaxial breathing system incorporates an APL valve, 2L reservoir bag and two different monitoring line lengths allowing the system to be used for anaesthesia induction, low flow anaesthesia and delivery of supplemental oxygen in recovery and transport.
The Silver Knight™ anti-microbial range of UniFlow coaxial breathing systems contain a silver-based ion additive to further enhance patient safety by helping to reduce the incidence of Hospital Acquired Infections(1).
All UniFlow systems come with a leak tester to easily test the integrity of the inner lumen as recommended by the AAGBI(2). Safety is assured as both the inner and outer lumens can be properly and independently tested for leaks.
