The Intersurgical i-flo™ nasal cannula is a single use patient interface for the delivery of High Flow Oxygen Therapy (HFOT). It is intended to treat adult patients in the hospital environment with hypoxemic respiratory failure and is considered to offer a number of benefits over more conventional oxygen therapies. StarMed Respiratory Hoods

The StarMed range of respiratory hoods has been designed for both Non-invasive Ventilation (NIV) and CPAP therapy. Offering several clinical benefits for both the patient and the care providers, the hood interface helps to overcome many of the issues experienced with both endotracheal intubation and face mask use. The hoods are well tolerated for extended periods and, owing to the semi-closed environment design, have been identified as an optimal tool for reducing the risk of cross infection.

FitMax™ CPAP total face mask

The FitMax™ CPAP total face mask is an adult (>30kg) single patient use Non-invasive Ventilation (NIV) patient interface for use with Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) and bilevel treatment within the hospital environment. The design of the mask helps to eliminate the nasal bridge issues that can be associated with traditional oronasal masks. The FitMax is easy to fit and is available in three adult sizes: medium, large and extra large, for the majority of patients. The VariFit™ is a single patient use hospital Non-invasive Ventilation (NIV) mask featuring a cushion with AIRºgel® technology for enhanced patient comfort. Colour coded elbows help the clinician to choose the correct mask for bilevel/CPAP using a single limb breathing system or Non-invasive Ventilation using a dual limb breathing system. The breathable, quick release headgear is designed to fit easily to the patient and improve patient comfort.

FaceFit™ is a range of lightweight and comfortable masks for use in Non-invasive Ventilation (NIV). Two options are available for single or dual limb breathing systems, with or without an anti-asphyxiation valve and CO2 leak port for bilevel and CPAP applications.

We offer a range of masks, breathing systems and C-PEEP™ valves for use in Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP).

Twin-ported CPAP masks offer a comfortable interface to the patient and are available in two sizes: small and medium/large adult. The soft anatomically shaped cushion will comfortably fit a wide range of patient faces. 

CPAP breathing systems configurations offer active and passive humidification options with a mask or T-piece patient connector, and are compatible with the most common types of flow drivers used in hospitals (both with or without built-in overpressure valve).

We offer seven fixed value C-PEEP™ valves ranging from 2.5 to 20 cm H2O. Each valve is colour coded. The transparent body design, coupled with the coloured internal components, allow for easy blockage assessment and monitoring of a patient’s respiratory rate.

StarMed paediatric hoods

The CaStar Ped is available for both CPAP and NIV use on patients weighing at least 12kg. The CaStar Infant is a patient interface in two sizes optimised for delivering CPAP to babies from 3 to 12kg.
